Inedible species and difficult to fruit but the fruit bodies and even the mycelium produce low levels of bioluminescence.
All gourmet liquid cultures (LCs) are provided with a 16g needle (in the manufacturer’s packaging) and come in 10 mL capped syringes. They will be labelled on the plunger and are grown in a 1-2% malt extract solution. Shake well before use.
Very thick with healthy mycelium, very easy to get going, growing, and glowing! A must-have specimen for those who love a little bioluminescent mushy; great to use in a terrarium!

Any time you purchase something, you create a relationship between buyer and seller. This might not be too important when that relationship is between you and Wal-Mart, but when the thing your buying is sensitive, fragile, and important, a relationship is everything.
I started purchasing from MMM in 2019, and have never looked back. There is no other place I will trust with cultures. Payment is easy (I have used email invoice, and many other forms), and prices are reasonable, especially since the cultures are clean and vigorous.

Can not express how wonderful it is working with MMM. He is very communicative, and prompt.
This liquid culture syringe was loaded with Bitter Glow Oyster mycelium. I tested on (3) different clean agar dishes for contamination, and there was none and still is none. Aggressive genetics!
