Origins/History: Psilocybe cubensis var “Golden Teacher” was originally discovered as a wild strain in Georgia, U.S.A. and quickly became one of, if not the, most popular varieties. Due to environmental, genetic, and other conditions, the phenotype contained within the spores may be different than the collector’s card image. All varieties, especially mutant ones, are vetted to ensure the correct genetics are being sold.

I purchased a syringe of GT last month and had issues with my grain becoming contaminated with mold within the first two weeks. I had a clump of dark matter in the syringe and I assumed it was contaminated. Turns out it was just a clump of spores and mycelium. MMM was willing to replace the syringe anyway even though it was the syringe that was contaminated. For a one man small business they have the time to make sure your order is correct.
