Prefers higher fruiting temps (70-95°F) than a standard pearl oyster (60-75°F). This culture should be stored at room temperature and not in the fridge.

All gourmet liquid cultures (LCs) are provided with a 16g needle (in the manufacturer’s packaging) and come in 10 mL capped syringes. They will be labelled on the plunger and are grown in a 1-2% malt extract solution. Shake well before use.

I had great luck with the pink oyster lc. I put them into brown rice bags then mixed with some straw and had great success. Great taste and really interesting mushrooms to watch grow. Highly recommended. Honestly I’ve had good luck with everything I’ve tried from mmm

MMM is the greatest genetics supplier I have worked with. Every time I order, I'm always satisfied, and I love all of the random free stuff I always get, especially the sticker, I have like 10 of them at this point and they all go on my flow hood!

I picked up a syringe of pink oysters a few weeks ago, and it is a very fast colonizer. Made up one jar of grain spawn on bird seed, did a G2G transfer, and am trying a bucket grow. The bucket is already almost fully colonized! It only took a few after the transfer to be 100% colonized. I also used a modified lid from MMM to make some more LC, and that is full up!! Just bought a few more syringes to further build my library. Mush love.

This is my first time ordering from here and it was quick and easy. It's also first time trying to grow mushrooms, I have this LC on a few agar plates and some store shitakes on agar too hehe hopefully it turns out alright. So far the pink oyster LC I got from here is growing nice and pretty on the agar

After a great start to inoculation I accidentally unplugged the heater but the mycelium slowed but did not stop. Once heat was turned back on they thrived and now are in the growth medium, working to become Risotto :)

Experience overall was top-notch, No issues at all with growth on rye grains. Hoping for some edible fruits to use with anticipated recipes within the next 2-3 weeks (everything looking good so far). Next purchase will likely be one of MMM's ready to fruit blocks

This culture grew just perfectly and yielded me some yummy mushrooms! This was my third order and the 4th or 5th species of spores I've bought from him in a few years and I have supreme faith in the quality after these experiences. I ordered a few species which were all delivered very quickly per the shipping schedule. Unfortunately the Pink Oyster syringe was cracked during shipment but he quickly sent a replacement. It's already growing on agar and appears to be clean, thanks!
First-time buyer here. LC arrived quickly. The product is of excellent quality and the seller is great. I will try out some other products on MMM soon.
