Psilocybe cubensis var “Jedi Mind Fuck; JMF” is a variety with unclear origins. It is thought to have been isolated in the early 2000’s by “Myco Joe” or “Agar Joe” and may be derived from Z-strain or a wild Georgia, USA fruit. Regardless of the origin, Jedi Mind Fuck has continued to be stabilized over the last nearly 2 decades and has proven to be a variety that many collectors are glad to have in their collection. Very beginner friendly, Jedi Mind Fuck has shown some huge love in the last few years- see for yourself why.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Menace” was originally collected in Texas. An excellent strain to checkout under the scope and compare to other North American/Southern USA genetics. Consider comparing Menace to Hillbilly, Texas Orange Cap, and Purple Mystic, a few other varieties that originated from the same area.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Brainy Shakti” is a fun mutant variety to work with. Brainy Shakti is an isolation of Shakti, which itself is an isolation of an Albino Malabar (aka Albino Malabar Coast). The Brainy Shakti produces many mutant forms and some more standard albino caps- many of the mutant forms are small, brainy, mycelium masses. A ton of surprises in this genetic mutant isolation, and a great albino to add to the collection. Brainy Shakti is also the variety that produced MoMo, an isolation known for giant fruits. See if you can isolate the next “MoMo” from these Brainy Shakti!

Hillbilly Pumpkin is a variety of Psilocybe cubensis that originates from the Hillbilly variety. While the classic Hillbilly has been enjoyed for decades now, Hillbilly Pumpkin is an isolation effort that has distinct phenotype and was made in the 2020’s. There is a pronounced rippled cap and fat, globular stems during early pinning, looking like pumpkins. Later on, they grow fairly pronounced ‘nipples’ on the caps. Very low levels of spore release- these were swabbed directly. A really interesting variety to study, don’t miss out this mutant isolation of a favorite variety.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Casper” is a fun mutant variety to work with. Casper is an APE x MakShak cross. MakShak is a Shakti x Melmak cross. You can learn a bit more about Shakti’s history through the Brainy Shakti spore swab product page.
Casper is an albino variety that produces some blobs but also often produces large fruits- as would be expected with the APE and Melmak genetic histories. There is a lot of room for fun mutant expression given the varieties this originates from, and is known to retain the coveted phenotype ‘PE’ is best known for. In addition, spores are not ejected and must be swabbed. You will not be disappointed sending these through the scope!
Casper may be shortened to Cas or Casp.

All syringes are for microscopy/art/collection purposes only.
Each spore syringe is 10 mL and comes capped with a separate sterile 18 g needle.
Each syringe comes with a collector’s card print out that has the batch date the syringe was produced.
Due to environmental, genetic, and other conditions, the phenotype contained within the spores may be different than the collector’s card image. All varieties, especially mutant ones, are vetted to ensure the correct genetics are being sold.
