Shiitake (Warm Temperature Tolerant Fruiting) Agar Wedge

This culture of shiitake has the standard shiitake fruiting abilities but also can tolerate warm fruiting conditions. This shiitake culture can fruit above 18°C (~65°F).
This shiitake culture is be able to fruit at about 50-75/80°F.
Browning is recommended for this culture but it has been shown to popcorn and fruit before browning fully.
Shiitake may be shortened to Shiit.

All agar wedges are colonized agar pieces cut to fit in a 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tube and are shipped with parafilm. The species is written on the tube.
