All gourmet liquid cultures (LCs) are provided with a 16g needle (in the manufacturer’s packaging) and come in 10 mL capped syringes. They will be labelled and are grown in a 1-2% malt extract solution. Shake well before use.
In the East these are prescribed along with modern medicine for cancer treatment. So many positive benefits for our health and well-being, so naturally I wanted to give them an attempt. They took off on my first try and grew big and beautiful giving off the appearance that I may have actually known what I was doing. Ok maybe a little. .. However, I have to give this MMM strain a lot of credit as they were thick and hearty in spite of any mistakes I may have made along the way. It was exciting to see these grow and develop. There are certain living things here on earth that seem like they'd be a better fit on some other alien planet like snakes (something without arms/legs shouldn't be able to climb trees!), and Venus Fly Traps, Angler Fish and pretty much all fungus especially Reishi. .. and many many other things. However, as alien as they might be, they also have out of this world medicinal and health properties and as far as I'm concerned ordering spores from MMM are as good if not better than from any other source in the universe!
I used the red reishi LC to inoculate a bag of Hardwood /bran substrate. I did not do a grain bag first , and I think it speaks for itself that the LC is alive and thriving. No contams at this time , package was sent with tracked shipped and came quickly! I'm very happy . The two pictures are taken 1 week apart.

I got the red resihi liquid culture as a freebie! It colonized my uncle ben’s ready rice bag insanely fast. To top it off I was feeling lazy so I decided to fruit out of the ready rice bag without transferring to a substrate and the mushrooms had no problem fruiting!

Just got my order today which by the way was super fast and the communication was amazing. The liquid culture which was a freebie by the way was amazinggggg. Thicker than a snicker lol. It looks amazing and healthy and full of good stuffff. Put straight to agar and very excited for the outcome. Thanks mmm definitely will be back again

This is a very fast and strong grower. I inoculated grains and agar about a week ago and this is even outpacing the yellow oyster. Agar plate is already completely covered. Grains are almost ready for sub - can’t wait for some fruits! Will definitely recommend to others.
