The origins of Psilocybe cubensis var “McKennaii” are not entirely clear. This variety is named for Terrance McKenna, an acclaimed mycologist and is popular in the Netherlands where it may have originated as a cross in one of the shops there. The variety has been domesticated long enough to be considered a true “variety” and is a great honorary specimen to have in one’s collection. Great for beginners. Grab it today!
