Psilocybe cubensis var “Wikidzon” is an interesting variety with a convoluted past. It is rumored to be a strain developed from PES-Amazonian (PESA); however, it hasn’t been verified. Still a beloved variety for many years, Wikidzon is its own stable variety and deserves a place in your spore library and under your microscope. This lineage of Wikidzon has thrown leucistics in the past, giving rise to the start of a stable Leucistic Wikidzon lineage which MMM may still have for offer.
Wikidzon may be shortened to Wiki or Wikid.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Treasure Coast” is one of the oldest strains of Psilocybe cubensis in the hobby. Treasure Coast was originally founded by the same person who founded B+; however, that individual is known to be untrustworthy. Treasure Coast is thought to have been originally collected from Southern Florida’s Gulf Coast and has been sold by countless vendors for decades, making it a beginner friendly variety. An amazing variety for your library with mysterious origins.
Treasure Coast may be shortened to TC.

LuLu is a hybrid species variety. Psilocybe ochraceocentrata and Jack Frost (Psilocybe cubensis) were crossed.
Monokaryons from each species were mixed, clamp connections verified under the microscope and this resulted in “Yellow Umbo”. LuLu is an offshoot from the Yellow Umbo project that had albino and leucistic properties from the Jack Frost. Yoshi was the originator of these new hybrids.

The LuLu offered here is unknown in the Filial generation; however, has some traits that can be expected.
Spores are not deposited (does not print effectively) and are swabbed directly from the gills. A very small amount of spore material is released and is visible at the junction of the cap and stem, but overall this variety is swab only for spores.
The pins appear canonical in appearance with dark brown caps; however, as they mature they lose most of the color in the caps. Some color is retained at the center of the cap. An earlier and later phenotype is shown in the collector’s card images. Early pins also show some wavy cap edges that mostly even out. Leucistic and albino genetics may be possible to be seen as well.
The stipes show gnarling near the cap/step junction that is common with PE varieties- likely the Jack Frost genetics coming through.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Casper” is a fun mutant variety to work with. Casper is an APE x MakShak cross. MakShak is a Shakti x Melmak cross. You can learn a bit more about Shakti’s history through the Brainy Shakti spore swab product page.
Casper is an albino variety that produces some blobs but also often produces large fruits- as would be expected with the APE and Melmak genetic histories. There is a lot of room for fun mutant expression given the varieties this originates from, and is known to retain the coveted phenotype ‘PE’ is best known for. In addition, spores are not ejected and must be swabbed. You will not be disappointed sending these through the scope!

Psilocybe cubensis var “Purple Mystic” was originally a wild strain from Florida in the USA. It was domesticated and in recent years and has become a staple. A great USA strain developed by community members, Purple Mystic should have a proud spot in the USA section of your library. Especially considering the 2025 law that forbids spores in Florida, display these genetics proudly against govt overreach.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Golden Cluster Fuck F4” originated from Golden Teacher. GCF was produced by Veritas Mycology and is the start of an isolation project of Golden Teacher that has higher cluster formation. These spores are only F4 and the variety is new, so there is some variability to be seen in the spores. Grab this variety and compare to Golden Teacher, and store this piece of history in your spore library. This F4 clone is the same one that produced the F5 spores now available on the site. A great beginner variety!

Hillbilly Pumpkin is a variety of Psilocybe cubensis that originates from the Hillbilly variety. While the classic Hillbilly has been enjoyed for decades now, Hillbilly Pumpkin is an isolation effort that has distinct phenotype and was made in the 2020’s. There is a pronounced rippled cap and fat, globular stems during early pinning, looking like pumpkins. Later on, they grow fairly pronounced ‘nipples’ on the caps. Very low levels of spore release- these were swabbed directly. A really interesting variety to study, don’t miss out this mutant isolation of a favorite variety.
Hillbilly Pumpkin may be shortened to HBP or HB Pump.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Solmac” is an isolate generated by Nichy Myco derived from the Melmac lineage. Melmac itself is an isolation of Penis Envy. Penis Envy is one of the most iconic P. cubensis varieties for good reason. Don’t miss out on these great genetics, its hard to come by good Penis Envy isolate genetics. The lineage of Solmac that these spores were generated from tends to grow quickly, with caps splitting from rapid growth and adding to the “Sol” appearance of the Solmac. Psilocybe cubensis var “Cambodian” was originally collected by John Allen in Cambodia. An extremely popular and beginner friendly variety; a must have for collectors both new and experienced. Cambodian has been around for decades and is a necessity for your spore library.
Cambodian is different than the variety “Cambodian Gold” that I offer- Cambodian Gold is a descendant of Cambodian and Golden Teacher. Grab all three and compare!
