Psilocybe cubensis var “Solmac” is an isolate generated by Nichy Myco derived from the Melmac lineage. Melmac itself is an isolation of Penis Envy. Penis Envy is one of the most iconic P. cubensis varieties for good reason. Don’t miss out on these great genetics, its hard to come by good Penis Envy isolate genetics. The lineage of Solmac that these spores were generated from tends to grow quickly, with caps splitting from rapid growth and adding to the “Sol” appearance of the Solmac. Psilocybe cubensis var “Brainy Shakti” is a fun mutant variety to work with. Brainy Shakti is an isolation of Shakti, which itself is an isolation of an Albino Malabar (aka Albino Malabar Coast). The Brainy Shakti produces many mutant forms and some more standard albino caps- many of the mutant forms are small, brainy, mycelium masses. A ton of surprises in this genetic mutant isolation, and a great albino to add to the collection. Brainy Shakti is also the variety that produced MoMo, an isolation known for giant fruits. Psilocybe cubensis var “Tasmanian” was originally found on the island of Tasmania, off the coast of Australia. This variety is alleged to have come from regions of Tasmania that get fairly cold, and yet, they persist. From a unique locale, this strain deserves its place in your spore library.

Psilocybe cubensis var “PF Redspore” is a variety of P. cubensis that is mutant in spore color. It produces reddish brown spores instead of purple/black. PF Redspore originated from PF Classic. Truly awesome for photography comparisons with normal colored P. cubensis spores. A great addition to your collection and a must have for enthusiasts.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Albino Galactic Gorilla” is a relatively new variety and descends from Galactic Gorilla- as a stabilizing albino isolate. Galactic Gorilla is originally a SV-13 x Albino Penis Envy (APE) cross. SV-13 itself is the 13th generation of APE X Chodewave. Chodewave itself is a Tidal Wave x APE cross. Tidal wave originates from a PE+ and B+ cross. That means Galactic Gorilla has some of the most iconic genetics known to the mycology community. The constant back crosses to APE drive the albino seen in this isolate of Galactic Gorilla. A true beast of a “designer” variety- these mutant genetics will show amazing variety among the spores and are perfect for further isolation and cross projects.

Psilocybe cubensis var “DC Melmac” is also known as DC Mak. DC Melmac is an isolation of Melmac produced by a breeder named ‘DC’. Melmac itself is an isolation of Penis Envy. Penis Envy is one of the most iconic P. cubensis varieties for good reason. Don’t miss out on these great genetics, its hard to come by good Penis Envy isolate genetics. The lineage of DC Melmac that these spores were generated from tends to throw some PE like mutants, especially in the first flush. This lineage of DC Mak also does spore lightly, helping with genetic preservation. Psilocybe cubensis var “Mexican Dutch King” is a lineage of wild P. cubensis from Mexico that was brought to the Netherlands and domesticated there for the historically legal use within the Netherlands (which is no longer the case). It was wildly popular and these genetics likely held the spot in many shops. Will sometime show genetic mutations. Grab a piece of history today!
This is a great Beginner Friendly variety as it was domesticated for industrial use in its past.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Golden Teacher” was originally discovered as a wild strain in Georgia, U.S.A. and quickly became one of, if not the, most popular varieties. Psilocybe cubensis var “Acadian Coast” is reported to have originated in Louisiana, USA. A great library addition, especially for southern US genetic collectors. Acadian Coast has been around for decades and was collected from wild specimens along the Acadian coast in LA; a high heat and humidity loving variety.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Iceberg” is a relatively new variety and descends from Thai Lipa Yai- as a stabilizing albino isolate. You can see more about the origins of Thai Lipa Yai here. Iceberg was first isolated by MMSCL as an albino fruit from a standard TLY run; Iceberg is now a stable albino itself. Often the “ice” is cracking on the surface of mature fruits. Known for high blue staining and its strength; this mutant is a must have, especially for albino collectors.
