Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Purple Mystic” was originally a wild strain from Florida in the USA. It was domesticated and in recent years and has become a staple. A great USA strain developed by community members, Purple Mystic should have a proud spot in the USA section of your library. Especially considering the 2025 law that forbids spores in Florida, display these genetics proudly against govt overreach.
Purple Mystic may be shortened to PM.

Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Solmac” is an isolate generated by Nichy Myco derived from the Melmac lineage. Melmac itself is an isolation of Penis Envy. Penis Envy is one of the most iconic P. cubensis varieties for good reason. Don’t miss out on these great genetics, its hard to come by good Penis Envy isolate genetics. The lineage of Solmac that these spores were generated from tends to grow quickly, with caps splitting from rapid growth and adding to the “Sol” appearance of the Solmac. You won’t be disappointed by adding this variety to your library and in doing so, help to preserve the genetics of the PE and Melmac lineages.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Texas Orange Cap” is a variety originally domesticated from Texas wild specimens collected in 1998 near Nueces county, USA by an OMC member. This is a great variety to have in your library to capture with other southern USA genetics.

Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Bluey Vuitton” is a relatively new variety and descends from a Panama x Melmac Penis Envy cross. Allegedly produced in 2014 by “Silly Cybin”, this variety has become a favorite among spore collectors. Bluey Vuitton produces a mix of albino (clear) and the canonical dark purple/black spores and often present leucistic or with very low pigment amount. Another amazing Penis Envy descendent, don’t miss grabbing this “designer” variety.
Bluey Vuitton may be shortened to BV.

Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Syzygy” is allegedly a variety that the McKenna brothers in Hawaii were working on. This variety reportedly was resurrected from a 12 year old print with Terrance’s handwriting on it and were then spread around the world through FSRE. Syzygy was originally thought lost, but is now an amazing piece of history to have in your collection. Don’t let Syzygy get lost again and add a Syzygy spore swab to your order today.
Syzygy spore swabs may be shortened to Sy or Syzy.

Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Tasmanian” was originally found on the island of Tasmania, off the coast of Australia. This variety is alleged to have come from regions of Tasmania that get fairly cold, and yet, they persist. From a unique locale, this strain deserves its place in your spore library.
Tasmanian may be shortened to Tas.

Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Light Spore Albino Penis Envy-Revert; LS APE-R” is a variety that was developed from APE but drops spores. The revert alludes to the return to the canonical phenotype from the APE phenotype (canonical spore color and shape/size, very minimal albino spores, produces spore prints and does not require swabbing). APE-Revert is not a stabilized variety and there is an expectation of some variance in shape/size- a great example is this isolate the Light Spore APE-R. This culture has generally low spore production, even with healthy mature specimens, keeping study tidy. A historic sample to have in your library!
Light Spore Albino Penis Envy-Revert may be shortened to LS APE-R.

Psilocybe cubensis var “Tidal Wave F4” was developed in the last decade and has become a superlative variety. Tidal Wave is a cross between “B+” and “Penis Envy; PE” and has produced many different variations as it is not yet stable. The Tidal Wave F4 spores were collected from Tidal Wave F3 that were presenting a Penis Envy phenotype. The Tidal Wave F2 that generated the F3s had a canonical phenotype with canonical printing. The phenotype of the F4s is shown in the image, that is what the isolate is from.
F4 marks a somewhat genetically stable landmark in the making of a variety, a treasured collectors item to look back and compare to future stable Tidal Wave varieties. Some interesting “stable” varieties generated from other Tidal Wave lineages are Enigma and Brainiac. Store this piece of history in your library today.
Tidal Wave F4 may be shortened to TW F4 or TW.

Hillbilly is a variety of Psilocybe cubensis that is now decades old and was popular in the 2000’s. Hillbilly was originally collected from the southern USA, either Alabama or Arkansas, and is now enjoying a resurrection among microscopists. A great chance to collect a newly revived classic for your spore library!
Hillbilly may be shortened to HB.

Origins/History:
LuLu is a hybrid species variety. Psilocybe ochraceocentrata and Jack Frost (Psilocybe cubensis) were crossed.
Monokaryons from each species were mixed, clamp connections verified under the microscope and this resulted in “Yellow Umbo”. LuLu is an offshoot from the Yellow Umbo project that had albino and leucistic properties from the Jack Frost. Yoshi was the originator of these new hybrids.
The LuLu offered here is unknown in the Filial generation; however, has some traits that can be expected.
Spores are not deposited (does not print effectively) and are swabbed directly from the gills. A very small amount of spore material is released and is visible at the junction of the cap and stem, but overall this variety is swab only for spores.
The pins appear canonical in appearance with dark brown caps; however, as they mature they lose most of the color in the caps. Some color is retained at the center of the cap. An earlier and later phenotype is shown in the collector’s card images. Early pins also show some wavy cap edges that mostly even out. Leucistic and albino genetics may be possible to be seen as well.
The stipes show gnarling near the cap/step junction that is common with PE varieties- likely the Jack Frost genetics coming through.

All syringes are for microscopy/art/collection purposes only.
Each syringe is 10 mL and comes capped with a separate sterile 18 g needle.
Each syringe comes with a collector’s card print out that has the batch date the syringe was produced.
Due to environmental, genetic, and other conditions, the phenotype contained within the spores may be different than the collector’s card image. All varieties, especially mutant ones, are vetted to ensure the correct genetics are being sold.
