Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “DC Melmac” is also known as DC Mak. DC Melmac is an isolation of Melmac produced by a breeder named ‘DC’. Melmac itself is an isolation of Penis Envy. Penis Envy is one of the most iconic P. cubensis varieties for good reason. Don’t miss out on these great genetics, its hard to come by good Penis Envy isolate genetics. The lineage of DC Melmac that these spores were generated from tends to throw some PE like mutants, especially in the first flush. This lineage of DC Mak also does spore lightly, helping with genetic preservation. You won’t be disappointed by adding this variety to your library and helping to preserve the genetics of this amazing species.
DC Melmac may be shortened to DC Mak or DCM.

Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Ajax” is a variety of Psilocybe cubensis that is relatively new. It was traded and sold around reddit and is now a stable variety. A great collectors item; few have it in their library and those that do enjoy the sample. It is unclear what variety Ajax was developed from, but boy do they look beautiful under the scope. No wonder they share their name with a Greek hero!

Moving towards a new variety stabilization, MMM’s supplier’s Psilocybe cubensis var “Tidal Wave F6” spore prints and spore swabs have arrived!
Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Tidal Wave F6” was developed in the last decade and has become a superlative variety. Tidal Wave is a cross between “B+” and “Penis Envy; PE” and has produced many different variations as it is not yet stable. The Tidal Wave F6 spores offered here were collected from Tidal Wave F5 that were presenting more of a canonical phenotype but with intense bluing and some cap mutations. The collector’s card image displays the F5s that produced these F6 spores. The Tidal Wave F2 that generated the F3s had a canonical phenotype with canonical printing; however, the F3s that produced the F4s had PE presentation (requiring swabbing as no prints were produced). The F5s have a more canonical phenotype with intense bluing.
F6 marks a somewhat genetically stable landmark in the making of a variety, a treasured collectors item to look back and compare to future stable Tidal Wave varieties. Some interesting “stable” varieties generated from other Tidal Wave lineages are Enigma and Brainiac. Store this piece of history in your library today and see what new mutant varieties arise.

Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Creeper” is a variety originally sold by a vendor known as Kreeper. There is some controversy over the origins of this variety as Keeper was known to order spores from other vendors (like Hawkeye) and rebrand them. Regardless, Creeper has stood the test of time and has beautiful prints. A variety for any true collector’s library.
Creeper may be shortened to Creep.

Psilocybe cubensis var “RustyWhyte F12” is a newer variety that was developed in the late 2010’s by an OMC community member. This variety is leucistic with reddish-brown spores (a stable line that originated from AA+ and Columbian Rust Spore- CRS). These spores are F12 and direct descendants from PastyWhyte’s F8 release. See if the F13s- the progeny of these F12 spores- are still available for comparison. Be a part of history today and store these genetics in your library.

Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “Leucistic Machine Elf F1” is a isolation project for a Machine Elf Lineage leucistic variety. Machine Elf was produced by a breeder when mixing Peru and Penis Envy Uncut. Due to the Penis Envy Uncut genetics, Machine Elf will often contain a mix of canonical and leucistic genetics. The spores offered here are F1, produced from a cloned leucistic Machine Elf (F0). The collector’s card displays the results of the F0 cloning. As long as only leucistics are bred, the community may see a true and stable Leucistic Machine Elf. Do not miss out on adding these genetics to your library to catalogue the genesis of this new leucistic variety.

Origins/History:
Psilocybe cubensis var “PF Classic” is a great variety with beautiful prints. A variety with an interesting past, a must have for any serious collector. For more details on the varieties history, see the below excerpt taken directly from “Rose’s Advanced Strain Guide”.
PF Classic Recommended Expertise:
3-6 out of a 1-10 scale; Beginner/Intermediate
“PF Classic is a sentimental favorite among many Cubensis enthusiasts. It is a classic cube and often a fatass (short and fat). PF Classic peaked in popularity in the late 1990’s through 2002.
According to Workman, “PF “Classic” was initially purchased by PF from the Homestead Company (one of the few cubensis spore sources at the time) around 1990. No one seems to be sure where the original wild spores were collected, but it has been suggested that they are of Matias Romero stock, which it does resemble.”
The entire catalogue of PF Brand spores was almost lost to degeneration. Some wonder if the degeneration was due to black light exposure… but Workman suspects the PF ‘strains’ are all infected with a fungal virus… which may contribute to PF Classic’s propensity to mutate (PF Classic has spawned the PF Albino AND the PF Redspore) and degenerate.
PF Classic is not known to produce many spores. You may have to wait longer for PF Classic spore production to begin, than with most cubes. Once the veil breaks and the cap extends, you still may have to wait an extra day or so… before sporulation.”

Psilocybe cubensis var “Ecuador” was originally discovered in Ecuador, high in the mountains. Making Ecuador an excellent choice for beginners, this variety originated in a tough environment and is a hardy variety that often resists contamination well. Truly genetics that any collector wants! South American genetics are well known and loved. Ecuador has been around for a long time, see for yourself why you will find it in the library of all serious collectors.
